Alone in the Dark: The long-awaited reboot

THQ Nordic has exciting news for fans of Alone in the Dark: the highly anticipated reboot is set to launch on October 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Even better, a free demo is now available, allowing players on these platforms to get a taste of what the full game has in store.

The standalone demo immerses players in the shoes of 11-year-old Grace Saunders as she embarks on an errand that takes an unexpected turn. This playable prologue offers a glimpse into the gameplay mechanics and atmosphere without spoiling the main story.

In addition to the release details, THQ Nordic has unveiled the star-studded cast for the game. David Harbour, known for his role in Stranger Things, will portray one of the dual protagonists, Edward Carnby. Joining him is Jodie Comer from Killing Eve, who will bring the other protagonist, Emily Hartwood, to life.

Players will have the choice to experience the story from the perspective of either character. THQ Nordic assures fans that each character's perspective will provide a distinct and compelling take on the narrative, adding depth and replayability to the game.
